At a young age, Arthur Covington learned to hide his own psychotic traits and abilities to channel life through many souls. The inner fighting inside his head drove him to self-medicating and performing experiments on his own body. This was a desperate attempt to gain control over the illness caused by the crazed souls and hold on to the last fragment of his true self. The search to understand his condition grew, and he founded The Covington House mental asylum as a perfect opportunity to study patients who needed mental illness treatment and long-term care. Dr. Covington used his access to hundreds of patients to provide “specialized immediate care” that they didn’t deserve in order to study his illness.

After Finn escaped from the Covington House, he headed back to where it all began, barricaded himself within his childhood home, and experienced a horrid family reunion with the Breed.

Without Finn, Dr. Arthur Covington’s illness rapidly intensified as he lost the ability to test his theories on the unique patient. He was forced to start searching within his own mind, but a dark void formed in its place and he quickly lost control. This corruption rapidly spread the longer he went without a cure.

His obsession for a cure turned vile and each experiment grew more grotesque. Each failed attempt drove him deeper into madness and desperation. He turned to his son, Oliver, to test another theory for a cure. Oliver secretly watched many of his father’s twisted experiments from the shadows, and he developed a palate for pain. Dr. Covington molded his son to take over the family practice and abused Oliver’s desperate need to connect with his father to guide him in his sadistic ways.

Dr. Covington returns to the Lake House, but this is no House Call. His desperation for a cure has brought him back to Finn. The asylum Caretakers have joined in the search for the escaped patient, wearing the skinned faces of past patients to hide their identities.

Dr. Covington and the Caretakers breached Finn’s childhood home. Hiding behind the walls, they used electric shock therapy and mind control treatments to evolve the Harris Lake House residents into Dr. Covington’s new sadistic breed. They followed his crazed needs and turned the decrepit Lake House inside-out.

 

As the water rises and the moon lights the night sky, the dismembered bodies sway from chains as a warning to what you may find inside. This house of unspeakable horrors will leave you no safe place to hide, not even behind the walls.
